We’re Reinventing 3D Printing...

Started out of MIT in 2011 as a passionate team of engineers, designers, and problem-solvers, Formlabs is now over 500 people across Boston, North Carolina, Hungary, Germany, Japan, and China.

They are committed to bringing powerful and accessible fabrication tools into the creative hands of professionals around the world.

They also develop high-performance materials in-house, as well as best-in-class 3D printing software like PreForm and Dashboard.

The Next Generation of Industrial 3D Printing

With advanced Low Force Stereolithography (LFS)™ technology, Formlabs has completely re-engineered resin-based 3D printing to drastically reduce the forces of the print process.

What's new for 2023?

Form Auto

Automation Hardware for Your 3D Printer

Form Auto is a hardware extension for Form 3/3+ 3D printers that automatically removes finished parts from Build Platform 2 and starts the next print without the need for operator interaction, enabling 24/7 3D printing with no printer downtime.

Always available, always ready, and always printing.

Form 3+

Work Smarter, Not Harder

The Form 3+ combines both hardware and software improvements to deliver what’s most important to 3D printing users: fabricate parts and components in record time and drive forward critical R&D projects faster than ever.

In addition to 20-40% faster print speeds, they feature a redesigned heating system and new components that stabilize the laser system, resulting in improved surface finish and more consistent prints.

Form 3L

Small Details, Big Results

Form 3L offers five times the build volume and two times the laser power of the Form 3.

The Form 3L can hold two easy-to-switch resin cartridges, preventing interruptions during large print jobs.

Form 3B+ - Dental

More Smiles, All Around

The Form 3B is an advanced desktop 3D printer optimized for biocompatible materials.

Our precise, reliable ecosystem takes the guesswork out of dental fabrication so faster workflows are just a few clicks away.

In addition to 20-40% faster print speeds, they feature a redesigned heating system and new components that stabilize the laser system, resulting in improved surface finish and more consistent prints.

Form 3BL - Dental

High Volume Dental 3D Printing

The Form 3BL is the large format dental 3D printer that raises the bar for dependable high-production dental 3D printing, designed to work day and night with minimal intervention.

Maximum Productivity, Minimum Intervention

A build volume of 33.5 × 20 × 30 cm (13.2 × 7.9 × 11.8 in)

Print 48 models in a day, with only two printer interactions.
