Eye-2-Eye Communications Pte Ltd was incorporated in early 1990s in Singapore by Miles Podmore, John Lyons and Eastgate (the largest cd-rom manufacturer an a listed company in Singapore) with the mission of making Eye-2-Eye a regional market leader for optical technology products and solutions.

Miles’ relationships with key partners: Ricoh, Panasonic, Adaptec, Prassi and John’s wide network of resellers and distribution houses in Europe, Middle East, India, Asean and Australia paved the way to successful production, marketing and distribution of Eye-2-Eye brand of multimedia CDRW recorder kits. With Eye-2-Eye’s successes gaining the respect and attention of top recorder manufacturers, Eye-2-Eye widened its recorder distribution activities by forming additional direct alliances with Plextor, Yamaha, Pioneer, Mitsui, Mitsubishi and TDK.

Essential to the recorders (hardware) are the CD and DVD recording software and authoring solutions.
